Segmind Release Notes (October 19–25, 2026)

Segmind updates for October 19 to 25, 2026: PixVerse V6 Max, Ideogram Vector 1, HeyGen Video, Seedance 2.5 Upscaled, Segmind Video Upscaler, Grok Voice, generation feedback, the Pixelflow Assets library, and Agent improvements.

1. New Image and Vector Models

  • What's new: Ideogram Vector 1 (ideogram-vector-1) is live on the API with two modes: generate an SVG from a prompt, or vectorize an existing image. Output is native SVG.
  • Impact: Create logos, icons and illustrations as scalable vector graphics, or convert existing artwork into clean SVG, straight from the API.
  • Released: October 23–24, 2026

2. New Video, Avatar and Voice Models

  • What's new: PixVerse V6 Max (pixverse-v6-max) supports text-to-video and image-to-video with clips up to 15 seconds, 360p to 1080p output, optional audio and prompts up to 5,000 characters. Seedance 2.5 Upscaled (seedance-2.5-upscaled) renders Seedance 2.5 video and upscales it to 720p, 1080p or 4K. The new Segmind Video Upscaler (segmind-video-upscaler) is available as a standalone model and as a chainable node in Pixelflow. HeyGen Video is now available as a single model, heygen-video-1, where your input media decides the mode and duration. Grok Voice brings real-time, two-way voice conversations to the API, with natural interruptions. p-video-2-pro-avatar now respects the prompt_upsampling flag, so you can turn automatic scene-motion enhancement on or off.
  • Impact: Generate longer, higher-resolution videos, upscale existing footage, build talking-avatar videos with HeyGen, and add live voice conversations to your apps.
  • Released: October 20–24, 2026

3. Rate Your Generations

  • What's new: You can now give thumbs-up or thumbs-down ratings on generations across the playground, gallery, chat, History, the console and the Pixelflow canvas. API, SDK and MCP callers can rate a generation with a new POST /v1/requests/<id>/feedback route.
  • Impact: Tell us what worked and what didn't, from the interface or directly from your code, so models and results keep improving.
  • Released: October 23–24, 2026

4. Pixelflow Assets Library

  • What's new: A new Assets library at platform.segmind.com/assets is linked in the sidebar, with search, filters and bulk tag and delete. Inside the Pixelflow editor, the Assets tab opens the full library in a dialog. Thumbnails load as lightweight previews instead of full-size originals, and the editor loads your library page by page, so large libraries open and scroll much faster. Published flows can now use assets from your library.
  • Impact: Browse, organize and reuse your saved images and videos in one place, even with very large libraries.
  • Released: October 23–24, 2026

5. Pixelflow Workflows and Publishing

  • What's new: When a run fails, the editor now shows a red chip naming the failing node and the error, plus node warnings. A run that references a missing asset now stops before any model is called or billed. Fan-out workflows can now be published as APIs, templates and bundles, and API runs stop at 15 minutes and tell you about any missing items. Publishing a flow as a template now drafts its listing (name, URL, tags, description and cover) for you to review.
  • Impact: Diagnose failed runs quickly, avoid unexpected charges, and publish more kinds of workflows with less manual setup.
  • Released: October 20–24, 2026

6. Segmind Agent

  • What's new: Segmind Agent is now available at segmind.com/agent. It asks one question at a time, shows plans with per-step approval, and can run a workflow or a single Pixelflow node only after you approve it. Spinners now end when a turn ends, sent messages appear immediately, and named outputs preview correctly.
  • Impact: Stay in control of what the Agent runs and spends, with a smoother chat experience.
  • Released: October 20–23, 2026

7. Model Pages and Playground

  • What's new: Model pages now show up to 12 "How to … with <model>" examples, each with cURL and Python SDK code. Clicking a playground example card replays exactly that example, leaving omitted fields blank instead of filling in defaults. The llms.txt full example for each model now uses the schema's example as-is. Early-access users can run coming-soon models from the playground and the API and pricing tabs ahead of general availability.
  • Impact: Copy working code for any model faster, and get predictable results from example cards.
  • Released: October 20–24, 2026

8. Billing

  • What's new: Yearly plans now pay out monthly credits correctly after upgrading from a monthly plan.
  • Impact: Your credits arrive on schedule after switching to a yearly plan.
  • Released: October 22, 2026
