Segmind website updates through April 19, 2025: a redesigned video model explorer, shareable playground URLs, an examples manager, and new navigation.
1. Video Model Explorer Enhancement
- What's new: The video model explorer was redesigned around URL-based navigation, so a view can be linked to and the browser's back and forward buttons behave.
- Impact: You can share a link to exactly what you were looking at, and browsing no longer loses your place.

2. Playground Media Handling Improvements
- What's new: Broader support for images, video and audio in the playground, plus colour-palette selection on the models that accept it.
- Impact: More model types are usable directly from the playground without downloading and re-uploading files.

3. Examples Management System
- What's new: A model's output can be promoted to an example, with clearer errors and easier navigation between examples.
- Impact: Better curated examples on model pages, which is usually the fastest way to judge whether a model suits your use case.

4. Models Page Restructuring
- What's new: Filtering by model type — image, video, audio, LLM — plus a featured section, on a faster-loading page.
- Impact: Narrow the catalogue to the kind of model you actually want instead of scrolling all of it.

5. Homepage Visual Components
- What's new: Featured models and workflows now appear in an auto-scrolling carousel with hover effects.
- Impact: More of the catalogue is visible from the homepage, with direct links through to each item.

6. Navigation System Overhaul
- What's new: A rebuilt navigation bar with reorganised dropdowns, team switching, and proper responsive behaviour.
- Impact: The same navigation on desktop and mobile, with fewer clicks to the pages people use most.

7. Google Translate Integration
- What's new: Google Translate support across the site.
- Impact: Site content can be read in your own language.

8. Error Handling and Performance
- What's new: A failing part of a page is now contained rather than taking the page down with it, and loading states show placeholders instead of blank space.
- Impact: Fewer dead-end error screens, and clearer feedback while a page is still loading.

9. Route Management Fixes
- What's new: A conflicting partner route was removed and the affected redirects corrected.
- Impact: Fixes 404s that partner links were hitting, and sends the old URLs somewhere useful.
