Segmind Release Notes (July 27–August 2, 2026)
Segmind updates for July 27 to August 2, 2026: two new image models, full multi-image responses, portrait reference-to-video, a resizable playground, and clearer team model access.
1. New Image Models — Reve v2 and Pruna × Ideogram
- What's new: Two new image models are live on the API.
reve-2brings Reve v2 text-to-image, including its edit and remix modes.p-image-ideogrambrings Ideogram generation accelerated by Pruna, offered in four quality tiers with support for custom output dimensions — Segmind is a launch partner. - Impact: Call two more text-to-image families through the same API you already use, and choose a quality tier on
p-image-ideogramto match the fidelity you need. - Released: July 27–30, 2026
2. Multiple Images per Request with grok-imagine-image
- What's new: Requests with
n > 1now return every generated image, and the playground presents them as a gallery — a large preview of the selected image plus a filmstrip of the full set. - Impact: Generate a batch of variations in a single call and browse the whole set without re-running the request.
- Released: July 27–30, 2026
3. Portrait and Custom Aspect Ratios for WAN 2.7 Reference-to-Video
- What's new:
wan2.7-r2vnow honours the aspect ratio you request, including portrait 9:16, instead of always producing 16:9. Ultra-wide ratios the model does not support are rejected up front with a clear error rather than accepted and ignored. - Impact: Produce vertical, square, and other non-landscape reference-to-video output for social formats directly from the API.
- Released: July 29, 2026
4. Playground — Resizable Workspace and One-Click Settings
- What's new: The playground dock and canvas are now separated by a drag handle you can move to resize either side, enum and boolean settings render as one-click pills instead of dropdowns, and a download chip is anchored to the output.
- Impact: Size the compose area and the preview to suit the work in front of you, change common settings in a single click, and save a result without hunting for the download button.
- Released: July 31, 2026
5. Restricted Models Are Labelled Before You Generate
- What's new: When a team admin restricts a model, it now carries a "Restricted" badge with a lock icon and a disabled Generate button — across the model and LLM playgrounds, Pixelflow, the segmind.com playground, and navbar search.
- Impact: See at a glance which models your team has made unavailable, instead of finding out from an error after you press Generate.
- Released: July 31–August 1, 2026
6. Audio-Aware Pricing for Seedance 1.5 Pro
- What's new: The pricing page now lists separate output rates for
seedance-1.5-prodepending on whether audio generation is enabled — $2.4/M output tokens without audio, $3.0/M with audio. - Impact: Know what generating with audio costs before you run the job rather than when the invoice arrives.
- Released: August 1, 2026
7. Team Invites Survive Sign-In
- What's new: An invite link now carries its token through the login and OAuth redirect, so people who don't yet have a Segmind account are added to the team once they finish signing up.
- Impact: Invite teammates who are new to Segmind and have them land in the right team, not on an empty dashboard.
- Released: August 1, 2026
8. Shared Pixelflow Graphs Open Correctly
- What's new: Shared Pixelflow workflows now open with all node connections intact. Graphs shared before this change repair themselves the next time they're opened — there is no need to re-share them.
- Impact: Open a workflow someone shared with you and run it as-is.
- Released: July 30, 2026
